Delhi to Shimla/Manali/Chandigarh

DAY 1: Delhi – Shimla (350 Km/ 8-9 Hrs)

When you reach Delhi airport or station, the representative/driver of Mountain Club Holidays will welcome you and transfer you to Shimla by road. The winding roads and greenery along the way make you look forward to more as you climb the hills from Chandigarh. Complete the check-in formalities at your hotel upon arrival in Shimla. After taking some rest, take a walk on the popular road “The Mall” which is the main road of Shimla and dotted with showrooms, restaurants and shops, and go to the Ridge Road where Christ Church stands. The presence of this old church makes this place even more attractive. Come back to the hotel, enjoy dinner and have a restful sleep in the serene environment of Shimla.

DAY 2: Shimla – Kufri – Shimla Tour

On Day 2 of Shimla Manali Tour After having breakfast at the hotel, leave for Kufri excursion, visit Indira Bungalow and Himalayan Zoo where you will also enjoy a pony ride on Mahasu Peak. On the way back to Shimla in the afternoon, visit the huge statue of Hanuman ji on Jakhu Hill. Then visit the architectural site Viceregal Lodge, which was designed by a British architect. In the evening you can spend some time on the Mall Road and visit some of the famous sites like Christ Church – the second oldest church in North India, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theater, and many more. Later come to the hotel and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in shimla.

DAY 3: Shimla – Kullu – Manali (290 kms / 8-9 hrs)

This morning after breakfast in Shimla, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Manali. On the way to Manali, stop at Pandoh Dam, visit Hanogi Mata Temple and Vaishno Devi Temple. If you have time, also visit Manikaran and Kasol, later reach Manali and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and stay at a hotel.

DAY 4: Manali - Rohtang Pass – Manali

This morning, after breakfast, go for a short sightseeing tour around Manali. Begin with a visit to the Solang Valley, which offers spectacular views of glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Here, you can enjoy activities like Paragliding. After you visit the Solang Valley, head towards Rohtang Pass, 51 km from Manali, located at an altitude of 3978 meters. You can't afford to miss an opportunity that takes you to one of the highest jeep able roads in the world. Return to the hotel after this tiring tour and have a comfortable stay at night.

DAY 5: Manali Local Sightseeing

Today is the fourth day of Shimla Manali Tour. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the city tour of Manali. Today you will explore – Hadimba Devi Temple (built in 1553 AD this temple is dedicated to Hadimba Mata, the most important deity of Himachal), Manu Temple, Van Vihar, Club House, Old Manali etc. In the evening you will be free to roam around Mall Road and IBEX Market in Manali. Come back to the hotel and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Manali.

DAY 6: Manali – Chandigarh (300 Kms 8/ 9 Hrs.)

After breakfast, transfer to Chandigarh. On arrival, check into Hotel. The day is free for Leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 7: Chandigarh - Delhi (250 Kms /5 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the Hotel: Visit Rose Garden, Rock Garden, and the beautiful Sukhna Lake. After sightseeing, drive to Delhi, drop at Delhi railway station.
